At the begin of my first essay, I had trouble coming up with a thesis that would support my topic and express all the ideas i wanted to put into paragraphs. 

I would sit in front of a blank page and try my best to gather some ideas to construct a thesis.

I would think and think and think and think.......

then

Distraction would come

I would try to avoid my assignment or get distracted looking at other things instead of paying attention to all of the issues that really matter.

After getting distracted and thinking hard, 

 I would jot down some sentences, reread what I wrote and if i didn't like it, i would through the paper to the side. I would do this about 3 times.

Coming up with an idea 

I would write down the rest of my introduction and body paragraphs.

I also had trouble giving specific examples...

I would jump from one idea to another without giving specific examples 

Organization was another problem in my writing process...

Sometimes I didn't know how to organize my paragraphs, I would write down one long paragraph combing two different subjects when i was suppose to start a new paragraph. 

Best out of the Best 

I never thought myself as a writer but i have learn how to construct a more proper essay in this class. From my first essay with a C average, I try my best to push myself one more grade up and I did with my second essay having a B average.

Now hopefully I can reach my goal to get an A on my third essay.

I don't dislike writing but just thinking that i have to sit down, gather ideas, do some research and construct a 4 to 6 page essay, makes me not want to do it.

Especially having my kids around, i get distracted way more easily thinking about what were going to do or where i am going to take them for the day.

Maybe that's the reason why sometimes l leave my assignment till the end.

It hasn't been easy for me and i don't consider myself as a good writer but when it comes to doing an essay or project i try my best to construct and come up with the best essay possible.
